General Information

Chiropractic

Chiropractic is the science, art, and philosophy of adjusting segments of the spine, for the correction of the cause of dis-ease. It is based on the principle that proper structure and movement of the spine and joints support optimal nervous system function, which plays a central role in regulating the body. Chiropractors evaluate joint function, identify areas of biomechanical dysfunction, and use manual adjustments and related therapies to improve mobility, reduce stress on the nervous system, and support the body’s natural ability to HEAL.

Subluxation

A subluxation is a misalignment or improper movement of a vertebrae that can interfere with normal nerve function. When a vertebra loses its proper position or motion, it may create stress or irritation in the nervous system, affecting how the brain and body communicate. Chiropractic adjustments are designed to correct these subluxations, restore proper movement, and help the body function at its best.

Adjustment

A chiropractic adjustment is a precise, controlled movement applied to a joint—most often in the spine—to restore proper alignment and motion. The goal of an adjustment is to reduce stress on the nervous system, improve joint function and mobility, and help the body move and function more naturally.
